Terms and Conditions:

All candles are handmade, and slight variations in color, scent strength, or texture may occur.
We do our best to describe and photograph products accurately, but colors may appear differently on different screens.
All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.
Payment must be completed at checkout.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to suspected fraud, product availability, or errors in pricing.
Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on carrier delays or high order volumes.
Urban Bibliophile is not responsible for packages marked “Delivered” by the carrier.
Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping information at checkout.
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue.
We do not accept returns based on scent preference or candle performance caused by improper candle care
Customers are responsible for following candle safety guidelines listed on our product pages and candle warning labels.
Urban Bibliophile is not liable for damage caused by misuse, including leaving candles unattended or burning them near flammable materials.
All website content—including product photos, descriptions, logos, and artwork—is the property of Urban Bibliophile.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.
We respect your privacy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to process payments and ship your order.
By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree that Urban Bibliophile is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Return and Refund Policy

Urban Bibliophile

Effective Date: December 7, 2025

At Urban Bibliophile, each candle is hand-poured with care and crafted in small batches. Because of the nature of our products, all sales are considered final. However, we want you to be fully satisfied with your experience, so please review the policy below.

Due to the handmade and consumable nature of our candles, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

Scent preferences
Color variations
“Cold throw” or “hot throw” differences
Burning issues caused by improper candle care
General dissatisfaction

If your candle arrives damaged or defective, we are happy to assist.

To be eligible for a replacement or store credit:

You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
You must provide clear photos of the damaged item and packaging.
The item must be unused.

Once reviewed, we will issue either:

A replacement item (same product), or
A store credit for the value of the item.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.

If you receive the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours with a photo of what you received.
We will send the correct item at no additional cost, or issue a store credit if the item is no longer available.

Orders may only be canceled within 2 hours of purchase.
After that window, we may have already begun processing your order and cannot cancel it.
